Derek John Campbell murdered at Midway Mews, Kelvin home by three
black males
20 December 2011 SAPS Capt Kym Cloete of the Sandton police
confirmed the murder of Kelvin resident Derek John Campbell this
week. He said the family had been entertaining guests. "Three
armed male suspects attacked Mr Campbell when he let a guest
out of the home. The black men demanded jewellery." Cloete said
the family reacted by locking themselves in a bedroom but the three
attackers broke down the door to get inside. "The husband was shot
and died on the scene," said Captain Cloete. The SAPS are
investigating. None of the 3 black males were captured. CONTACT
